Meet Ella! This beautiful girl found herself in a bad situation after the people who stepped in to be her happy ever after decided that she just didn’t make them happy anymore. The shelter warned the family that if they returned her to the same Cill shelter that she had already been at one time, she would certainly be euthanized upon drop off. A kind neighbor who knew of the situation reached out to us for our help. We just couldn’t let this misunderstood, Untrained girl get killed because her humans couldn’t commit to typical Husky behavior. After I was told that she needs to be an only dog home, she resides in a pack of 15 dogs, where she needs corrections now and then for grumbling and bearing her teeth, but she is learning her way and her place in the pack. Although she is Siberian husky, her long legs, tell us that there is more to her DNA. She is quite vocal, and enjoys the company of her humans. When left unsupervised, she can be quite destructive. She is potty trained, but when you gotta go, you gotta go! This girl needs to cross the finish line with a family that can handle her high energy, bed, stealing, snuggles, and all the love you could ever ask for. Is it you? She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $550, and includes transport to the Midwest, northeast, or southeast. Please start by filling out our application.
