We have just around 200 dogs in our care currently and we receive new dogs daily! Transportation is included in each dog's adoption fee depending on where they are traveling to so don't let distance be a factor in your decision! Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in any of our dogs! If you have any questions or concerns about the adoption process, please feel free to reach out to us at hoardinhuskies@gmail.com
I decided to adopt from Hoardin' Huskies because I saw how much good they were doing and how many lives they were saving daily. Their passion and dedication to rescuing huskies in need is unmatched. I adopted Misha from Hoardin' Huskies in May 2022, then I fostered a younger husky mix for them who was quickly adopted, and then, in June 2022, I ended up adopting Scarlett from Hoardin' Huskies too! And honestly, it was the best decision to adopt both Misha and Scarlett, they love each other so much and are BFFs. They are both the sweetest and most well behaved huskies you could ever meet! I'm so grateful that Hoardin' Huskies entrusted me with both of these sweet fur babies, they are super spoiled and now living their best life!
I live in New England and had been looking to adopt a husky for a year or so. I had always noticed on the husky rescue pages that Hoardin' Huskies (HH) was often stepping up to save huskies in need so when I saw there were 6 in need at the FT Worth shelter, I reached out to HH and Tammy worked with the shelter to put a hold on River's euthanization. Lesa Ingram from HH FT Wirth also responded the same, "what needs to be don" attitude and she told me she would help pull River for me from the shelter and drive him to a vet/boarder until he could be transported to me... if you see a dog and you want it, let a rescue group like HH know so they can make it happen.
Sadly, I lost my almost 14yo Siberian best friend in October. I was missing my hiking buddy/ car buddy. My girl was always down for a good time. After many failed attempts at finding the right dog, I said a prayer and I asked my girl to send me the right dog. Moments later I got a text with the cutest picture. Hoardin' Huskies was not only empathetic with my loss but completely committed to finding me the right dog. I knew I loved her from the moment I got that text message. She’s the sweetest most well behaved girl and she fits right into the whole pack. I couldn’t image life without her. HH knows how to heal a broken heart.
I adopted Xena back in September the week before the Hurricane touched down in FL, She is the best big “little sister” to Lila. They follow each other around all day and find trouble. I couldn’t be happier to have her in our lives. She was such a great girl to have in time for the storm, and so glad we got her in time to make our little family complete.
My baby Marcel who I considered “fostering” when the pup I saw missed the boat to the northeast-Tammy from Hoardin' Huskies, Tammy called me
directly when I inquired about Truffles and got my attention re: the husky breeding/abandonment problem in the south. Marcel has been without a doubt, the sweetest, smartest boy-truly a positive addition to our family (with young kids) but, most of all, he seems grateful to us as well, which some may say isn’t possible but our dude is humble and full of love. Every morning he greets us like we’re the best thing that ever happened, which is cute, since he’s the best thing that ever happened. Thank you Tammy and Hoardin’ Huskies, we are so grateful!
