Founder Tammy Ballan, pictured to the left, developed her love and obsession for northern breeds when she adopted her beautiful boy, Cyber, pictured above, in 2012. In 2015, she began independently rescuing huskies from horrible situations, and in 2019 became a full-fledged 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue for Huskies and malamutes. Beginning her efforts in Florida, she has quickly partnered with shelters all over the country in order to save more lives. With her team members, Francine Elliot and Tammy Easley, this tenacious trio has figured out how to reach audiences all over North America to garner support for their cause. Although the rescue maintains its original name, this group of ladies' is now proud to say they rescue all breeds. While other rescues are turning rescue cases away, Hoardin’ Huskies is doing everything they can to find solutions to help both humans and dogs in need. Just recently, they have happened upon an angel named Emma Duncan, a college, senior volunteer, that is helping their rescue reach the next level!
